A dreadful first half performance from both teams saw Newcastle come in from the break the happier. Peter Lovenkrands finished off a move that saw Gutierrez cross in for Lovenkrands to help himself to his 3rd of the season. It was not long after the break that Leon BEST (IS MINT) got the second and put the game beyond the home side who had given a debut to old Mag, Obafemi Martins. So Newcastle came away with a 5th away victory this season; that's more than table toppers Manchester United. A tribute to the Toon Army who travelled down to St Andrews and made the game like a home match. The atmosphere was brilliant with-non stop singing from the away section.
