Another disappointing night against weaker opposition but this time in Blackburn. Time and time again, this fixture always has the underdogs come out the happier of the two and tonight was no exception. Newcastle had the better of the play but you could not say they were clinical. On the other hand we did not concede a goal against a Blackburn side lacking any sort of great footballing talent. If we want to get into Europe, it's nights like this we really should be pulling out the points. So it wasn't to be again against another bogey team and we go home with just a point. At least we showed the Yorkshire club how to support your club.
